Physical Description:
Height: 5'8"
Build: Slender but fit
Skin tone: Slightly tanned.
Eye color: Green
Hair: Short, feathered, light brown hair
Clothing: Normally Johnathan's physical appearance is hidden, because he wears a crimson cloak, crimson hood, and crimson mask over his mouth. Under that he has a skin tight, long sleeved, black shirt. He wears fingered light brown cloth gauntlets that go up to about mid-forearm. He carries a belt of throwing knifes across his chest. He wears light brown wool pants and two leather boots that have snakes stitched into the soles of them, which is the sigil of his house.
Other: Johnathan will like to change his appearance quite often depending on the situation, using many different disguises to help con people out of money.
Personality: Arrogant, but can be suave when he wants. He'll tend to make smart-ass comments when the situation isn't too serious. Also, whenever he wants to do good at a chosen thing, he is very meticulous. Although he forsakes the lifestyle, being raised like a noble, he has a lot of mannerisms that show proper background (holding doors open for women, bowing at introductions, etc.)
Family:
Father: Lord Hector Gorrison (44)
Mother: Lady Maria Gorrison (39)
Sister: Victoria Gorrison (17)
Brother: Edward Gorrison (12)
Magical Talents: The Gorrisons have been known to have a curse in their blood that passes onto every generation. The curse is that it is completely impossible for any member of the family to learn magic, unless it were an act by the goddesses. It is a double-edged sword, however. It allows for the family to not have additional curses placed on them, but they cannot be blessed. They can't use any item that requires magical exertion, and can't be healed magically, but their presences cannot be sensed. People who know can 'sense' if other are around, are often taken by surprise from any member of the Gorrisons.
Weapons and Talents: Johnathan uses two daggers as his main weapons, but more often than not prefers not to kill. He has a belt of throwing knifes across his chest and carries a satchel of bombs with him, varying on the type of bomb. As far as talents goes, Johnathan carries the normal talents that come from a rogue, including lock-picking, sleight of hand, and infiltrating areas unseen.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Johnathan can tend to be naive at times, more so when dealing with women, but his best strength is that he thinks a plan through and is able to read people well enough to expect what they will do in response. He is also fairly adept with a rapier, but much better at hand to hand combat. (To visualize how he fights, he uses Jujitsu)
History: Johnathan was raised as a noble of the house Gorrison. Their sigil is a viper and colors are dark green and red. Although he showed an amount of prowess at fencing, Johnathan found himself enjoying martial arts more-so. His father was overly controlling as a child and never showed any amount of pride in Johnathan, making him feel a sort of resentment towards his father and the life-style he embraced. It was around the age of 18 that Johnathan would start to do things just to anger his father and spite him. One such act was participating in the underground fighting arena and getting caught. After his father found out, he started placing a lock on his son's door and window to keep him from leaving the manor without an escort. This only fueled Johnathan's thirst for freedom. He fumbled with the lock for days straight trying to figure out the song it sang when picked.
Once he had figured out the lock, he would break out of the manor many times and sneak off at night to continue participating in the underground fighting arena. Eventually his father found out that he had picked the lock and was sneaking off at night, so Lord Hector upgraded the locks. Little did he know that he was actually fueling Johnathan's progression into the life of a rogue. As security increased, so did Johnathan's skill at picking locks and sneaking in and out of the complex.
Even though the fighting arena had given Johnathan a thrill, he still found himself thirsting for more. The fact that he had to lie about his second life made him feel like he wasn't free at all. Johnathan knew that he wanted more than the life of a pampered noble and wanted more freedom than what he was given. For a while, it was just a thought. However, when Lord Hector announced that Johnathan was betrothed to another lord's daughter whom Johnathan did not care for, he knew it was time for action. He started planning ways to fake his death, trying to make it believable. After pulling off the act, he went out on his own and started to live his life of freedom. Freedom from responsibilities, freedom from tradition, and most importantly freedom from control...of any kind...
