Physical Description:
Soryn, at 25 years of age, has a slim yet well-toned frame. He stands around 6'3" and weighs in around 175 lbs. His dark blue hair is relatively short and stands up in the back, giving him a slightly wild appearance. He is lightly tanned and bears no distinguishing marks upon his skin. He usually prefers to wear black, as it is very misleading as to his personality and talents.

Personality:
Soryn can be very loyal to those he trusts, but he is quick to distrust if given sufficient reason. At times he fancies himself a hero and tries to do noble and just acts, no matter how great or small they may be. Often, though, he likes to stick to himself and study his surroundings, preferring to act only after he feels he has a firm grasp of what is going on around him.

Family:
Soryn is a cousin of King Hyrule, his mother being the King's aunt. His father was a renegade, often regarded as little more than a common thief. He has no siblings. He is, of course, related to the King's brother, Logain, and the King's daughter, Zelda.

Magical Talents:
Soryn is, in essence, what some consider a black mage, though his magic is currently limited to the wind element. While he has the capacity to learn spells in other elements, he has yet to do so, instead choosing to focus on wind mastery.

Weapons and Talents:
Being a royal, Soryn has trained with a sword, though not extensively. He usually carries a small dagger, though its use is generally more practical rather than for battle.

Strengths and Weaknesses:
Soryn has a sharp mind and is never slow to use it. While he is not incredibly intelligent, he has plenty of "street smarts." He is not usually quick to trust others, and his mannerisms sometimes leave much to be desired, especially for royalty. He is not incredibly strong, nor is he incredibly quick, though he is not weak nor slow. His sense of loyalty makes it extremely difficult for him to overlook anything he perceives as betrayal.

History:
Soryn was born into an awkward situation when his mother, the sister of the king, fell in love with a renegade sentenced to be hanged. Using her authority and influence, she was able to help him escape before his sentence was carried out, and together they fled into the country. Unfortunately, her love was not returned, and after taking advantage of her, the renegade left, never to be seen or heard from again.

Nine months after returning to the castle, Soryn was born, and while he was not kept a secret, he was raised away from the castle, more as a noble than a royal. Because of this, he did not enjoy the full perks of being part of Hyrule's royal family, but neither did he have to shoulder all of the burdens that accompany such a birthright. It was a balance that Soryn eventually learned to accept and embrace.

As a young teen, Soryn took a liking to magic, specifically wind magic. His mother was able to hire a tutor, and so Soryn began to learn the ways of wind manipulation. Whenever someone would question the lack of specific spells Soryn was being taught, the tutor would always counter that, by manipulating wind, greater things were possible, though it would take longer to build up the magic's power.

At age 20, Soryn began to travel around Hyrule in an attempt to determine what he would do with his life, as well as learn more about his chosen hobby. Though he returned home often, he never stayed for much longer than it took to display his progress to his tutor and enjoy the company of his mother. Now 25, Soryn is still searching for his calling, as well as a steady means of income.
