Physical Description: Egameci has a slender frame that is slightly hidden under his white robes. Over his robe he normally wears a fur lined cloak to keep him warm, while under the robe he wears a chainmail vest to help protect him. He wears fur lined gloves and fur lined boots that are blue. For jewelry he wears a golden ruby necklace, a silver belt, and a jewel encrusted dagger that is merely for decoration. His face is pale and smooth, with light blue eyes. His hair is a light blue, spiked up, and almost looks like gel is holding it in place, but in reality it is iced over. An interesting fact about Egameci is that while talking, he will puff out bursts of fog.
Personality: Egameci is normally calm and collected, but can be arrogant and prideful at times. Whenever he comes into contact with a wielder of fire however, his personality changes to erratic and temperamental.
Family: None to speak of
Magical Talents: The ability to summon and manipulate ice and snow.
Weapons and Talents: Egameci has no weapons to speak of, preferring to use his magical talents as his only tools needed for combat. As far as talents go, he is quite skilled at making crystalline ice sculptures. Another special talent of Egameci’s is that due to his diligent study to ice magic, he has gained a natural resistance to extremely cold temperatures.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Egameci is able to access a situation and normally keep his calm in battle, except when confronted with other magical users who wield fire (As stated before).
History:
Egameci is an enigma and not much is known about his life before he became known as The Winter Wizard. It is rumored that he was an apprentice mage studying to control and manipulate ice and cold magic in the Snowhead mountains for convenience. One day while out on a walk, a terrible blizzard suddenly appeared and Egameci was caught in it. Attempting to seek shelter, Egameci stumbled into an unknown cave.
The cave was deep and Egameci decided to explore it while waiting out the blizzard. When he discovered the heart of the cave, he found a resting wizzarobe and a crystal that was resting on a pedestal. Egameci felt a powerful aura being emitted from the crystal and so, while trying not to wake the monster, went to inspect it. As he approached it, he could tell that the crystal contained great magic within it. Before he could analyze it, he was startled by the wizzarobe waking up and shouting uncontrollably. The monster claimed that the crystal was rightfully his, having spent the time and energy to remove its barrier and guardians. It further went on how it would destroy anyone who would take his rightful treasure. In a frenzied panic, Egameci knocked over the crystal and shattered it upon the floor. Upon shattering, a magical mist burst from the remains and began to swirl around Egameci, which turned his body cold, made his head feel dizzy and soon caused him to black out.
Upon awakening, Egameci saw the wizzarobe flipping through a spell book, muttering something about taking back the power the man had stolen from him. Although Egameci wanted to deny that he stole nothing, he couldn’t help but admit that he felt something different within him. He felt much more powerful and capable of magic than he did before the crystal shattered. Egameci then, with his new found power, froze the ropes that bound him and shattered them, freeing himself from captivity. Before the wizzarobe could even react, Egameci turned the horrid monster into a frozen decoration for the cave. He had to admit that the new power felt good inside of him.
Unfortunately, those who are given great power are easily corrupted by it. Having previously lived a life of poverty before the change, Egameci felt like it was time for a change of economic status as well. He wasn’t a fool though knowing that doing something big would draw unwanted attention. Many merchant caravans wandered through the Snowhead mountains and the area was well known to have dangers, so how could they know that an assumed to be dead mage apprentice was robbing them and not some other horrid creature that roamed the mountain range?
For a whole year, Egameci robbed merchant caravans, stealing him a small fortune. The merchants having suffered several losses, even after hiring the aid of soldiers and mercenaries, decided it was time to fight this unknown force with the power of a mage. Egameci was unable to raid the next caravan due to being forced to fight a Fire Mage. Although he fought well with the man and there was no clear victor, the merchant caravan and the fire mage had seen his face and turned him in, making him wanted. In Egameci’s eyes, it was a failure for him, making things a lot more complicated and now having people hunting for his supposed lair somewhere in the Snowhead mountains.
It was at this point that Egameci developed a seething hatred for any people who would dare to wield the element of fire. Had it not been for the fire mage, people would not have been on the hunt for him. When a patrol group had come dangerously close to actually finding his lair, Egameci decided it was time to leave Termina and travel to Hyrule, where he would lay low for a while. He had hoped that after merchant caravans weren’t attacked for some time and having no known sightings of him might deter people from hunting him, at which point he will return to Snowhead and reclaim his territory…
