Physical Description:
Spyridon poses a rather intimidating figure, standing at just under six feet tall and weighing in at about one hundred and seventy five pounds. Though not particularly large, he projects a sense of size and strength via his mannerisms. The man is especially well muscled, and keeps himself in exceptional shape. He keeps his brown hair at average length, and generally is only seen in rather fine clothing. How intimidating he is is not helped in the least by the eyepatch that covers his right eye, or the multitude of scars and tattoos that cover his body. An especially large tattoo design covers the entirety of his upper torso, and runs down both of us upper arms. Rather eerie, the massive tattoo has a sweeping look to it, with an empty circle over his heart.

Personality:
Spyridon is for the most part an honorable man. Though not necessarily the most patient, he is cunning and quick to action. While he himself is trustworthy, many have been given cause to feel otherwise. Once a relatively caring man, most of his soft nature has been stripped away by what his years in service have done to him. Regardless, he has an exceptional amount of confidence in himself and is never afraid to throw himself into the thick of things.

Family:
Odessa Telos-Wife(Deceased)
Amelie Telos-Daughter(Deceased)

Magical Talents:
Imprisoned within the pirate captain's body is the soul of a greater poe. It allows him the use of some of its boons in order to complete the tasks he has.

Weapons and Talents:
Spyridon is one of the most feared pirates in the Great Bay. Though he has been injured, he has never been beaten in single combat. On his hips rest his weapons of choice, a finely made saber and its sister, a shorter and wider cutlass. He has learned a number of fighting styles with the blades, and does not always engage a target with both at the same time.

History:
Spyridon Arctus Telos was born aboard a merchant vessel in the Great Bay in the midst of a gerudo pirate attack. Within the chaos the entirety of the crew was murdered, including the newborn's mother. Having previously taken advantage of abandoned male children for the good of the gerudo people and seen its benefits, those responsible for the attack brought the child back with them to the babe back to the Pirate Fortress. There, he was nursed by members of the Al'wari family until he could become more useful.

While his initial training was towards a more domestic purpose, the boy hardly flourished in the setting. It was not until he was in his eigth year that he fought back against one of the Al'wari daughter's beatings that his true talents were discovered. After managing to seize the woman's practice sword, he broke her leg with the object and ran off. Though he was found a few hours later and beaten severely for his actions, he was afterwards sent into a fierce martial training regimen. He took to it quickly, and outpaced his female peers rapidly.

Despite his rather harsh treatment and difficult living situation, Spyridon did not turn into an malicious or vindictive individual during his stay. Throughout his time in training, he was faced with numerous challenges to both his ability and his decency. Though he had to engage in combat constantly with older and more skilled opponents, after his first fight he made a distinct effort not to harm any of the gerudo with whom he sparred. In his mid to late teens, he was constantly embarrassed by the women he was surrounded with, but had managed to gain a number of friends who actually respected him as an individual.

At sixteen, he was placed on the crew of the Misty Night, a clipper and one of the fastest pirate vessels in the gerudo fleet. Starting off as a deckhand, he worked his way through the crew until by merit he earned the title of First Mate. His life was relatively simple at this point, but the Al'wari matron wanted more out of her male investment. While the Misty Night was in port for an extended period, she saw fit to enhance his already impressive innate talents magically. How she chose to accomplish this was not in a manner the pirate would have wished.

Taking the captured soul of a Greater Poe from the depths of the Fortress's vaults, the Al'wari sea witches stitched the being's essence into Sypridon's body via a complex series of tattoos. Though initially drugged, the hylain awoke midway through the exceptionally painful process and had to be strapped down. The poe was a former gerudo pirate lord, a brutal woman killed at sea by a fleet of Terminian military vessels and zora pirate hunters. The result of the magical surgery was a faster, stronger, and much more brutal Spyridon. Not wanting to see her further investments go to waste, the family matron had one last piece of venom to bestow upon the hylian. The Greater Poe was given a directive, to ensure the man's obedience.

Things proceeded for the most part normally for the next three or so years, until after Spyridon had chosen a bride, and had his only child. By this point the captain of the Misty Night, Spyridon mistakenly refused to hunt down a hyrulean 'merchant' vessel. Already familiar with the ship, and knowing it to be of no worth he ignored the orders of the Al'wari matron and kept his ship at the dock. In the middle of the night he awoke, with a complete lack of control over his body. The Poe spoke to him for the first time then, laughing at his pain as she went about wrecking the little Spyridon had managed to take hold of and care about. He watched, helplessly, as the spirit murdered his wife and their two year old daughter in their sleep. Afterwards, the spirit set the place ablaze to remove any evidence of its actions.

After taking the mostly broken hylian to the quarters of the Al'wari matron, an explanation was given to him regarding what had happened, and what would continue to happen should he choose to disobey his masters. He was then sent back to his ship, and the matter eventually passed into nothing. Regardless, for the next few months Spyridon took no prisoners and left no survivors. He took only the best of supplies from the ships he raided, before setting the entire vessel ablaze and leaving no trace of his actions. Slowly, he began forming a plan to get out of his servitude and get revenge on people who had for so long pushed him down and taken what they wished from him.
