Greater Iconic Item (-8)
Mirror Shield

Physical Description:
Wilco stands six feet, two inches with a toned muscular build, weighing only one hundred and sixty five pounds, this tall Zora is a grey blue color. He has two head fins that start just below and behind the eyes and fall to mid-neck. His head tail his nearly two and a half feet, with two half moon shaped fins at the end. He also has fins on the blades of his forearms that stretch from his wrists to his elbows. His eyes are solid black spheres, with a light milky glaze.

His clothing consists of his armor while in a combat zone or on formal occasions, and for non strenuous activity, he keeps it light with a parted kilt. The loincloth like-garment his held up by a simple silver chain.

Personality:
Wilco is a kind Zora, preferring the art of healing over combat. He takes care to help any being in need, even if the being had at one point tried to harm him or his fellow Zora. Will believes nothing to be beyond salvation and second chances and gives everything that is not killed in combat or otherwise the opportunity to prove it; however, if that second chance is wasted, he will not take the time to save the being again. Wilco has a wise head on his shoulders and not being able to speak gives me plenty of time to think about his actions and his communication.

Family:
Wilco's father was the previous King Zora, but now his brother hold the position. His mother was the previous Queen as well. Wilco also has many brothers, including Alurei.

Magical Talents:
Electric fields in water.

Weapons and Talents:
Exquisite Zora Weaponry and Armor, but chooses to avoid conflict if possible. He is a talented healer.
Wilco Also possess a rare and valuable Mirror Shield. A gift from his mother.

Strengths and Weaknesses:
Wilco's Strength is his healing and compassion for his people. Although he can not express it verbally, he shows it through the care of his patients. Wilco is also a strong martial artist, but his eyesight makes fighting difficult. His only weaknesses are his lack of speech and his eyesight.

History:

The night Wilco's egg was separated from his brothers and sisters was a hectic one. A violent storm had blown through the land of Hyrule causing the Nursery attendants to be on edge. With the water chopping so violently above, the eggs had started shifting farther and farther away from each other and while one of the attendants attention was elsewhere, his egg had rocked out of the nursery bed and into the current of the river. As he was swept away, his egg had rocked against many rocks and eventually down the large water fall before being dumped into Lake Hylia. Once news of the missing egg had reached the King and Queen, a full alert was sent out among the Zora and a full scale search was under way.

After a cold and rocky twenty-three hours, Wilco was finally recovered, a large crack leading half the height of the shells surface. From that night on, special care was given to the egg, to ensure its hatching was completed with minimal damage to the embryo.

It was two weeks later that the cluster of tadpoles had emerged from their shells, and to the naked eye of the Zora attendants, nothing appeared to be wrong with any of the tadpoles. However, Wilco's difference would be apparent after he had started his growth into adult hood.

When the Zora's had grown into their teen years, it became well known that one of the Princes was deformed. Wilco grew up without the ability of speech and poor eyesight, making him a target for the other young Zora. Even with the title of Prince, his disabilities gave the others ammo to make fun, or pry at him. Wilco answered this with training. He trained with his brother Alurei and other instructors that his father provided.

As the years went on, the Prince heard less and less from the other Zora about his ailments, which was for the better because Wilco did not like to fight, instead he wished to practice medicine and healing and being less involved with the politics of the kingdom gave him the time to do so.

Wilco was sixteen when his father passed away and he watched how it affected the rest of the family as well as the kingdom. This only drove Wilco to become the best healer that he could. He thought that if he became the best in the kingdom, that deaths like his father's could be avoided.

Two more years passed and Wilco watched as his brother Alurei fell into a depression. He knew it was over the Zora Actress he had worked with and it hurt knowing that he could do nothing to help his brother. It was soon after the age of eight-teen that the King sent Alurei on his journey and Wilco prayed to the Goddesses he would return fulfilled.

Spells:
Electric manipulation - AoE - Creates and electric field around Wilco while in water.

Couple things that are a bit screwy with this app to me.

1. For the Bad Eyesight flaw, you don't reduce your actual skill by 5 points. Instead, when using our Battle System, should you actually decide to put points into Ranged Combat, you would suffer the five points then. This doesn't translate to taking off points from the skill itself.

2. Ok, even if you say what is increased by putting parentheses with the increase values next to the skill, you still have to replace the 0's in the skill set with what you're increasing. Also, tell me what was initially increased to 2 for skills and 3 for stats based on Wilco's race and archetype so I know not to count those values.

3. Wilco's appearance needs more fleshing out. Merely telling us what his skin and face looks like doesn't really cut it.

4. You need to tell us what specific kinds of spells Wilco uses for Battle System purposes. Only telling me what kind of magic he casts doesn't tell me what he can do to either do damage to an opponent or to heal an ally. See our Battle System Workings thread for more details on this.

Fix all of this, and then I'll look over it again.

You posted in the Char. Sheet Review Requests, so I'll look at this again.

1. You seem to have gotten some of my requests down, but with that comes new problems. Specifically with Appearance. You describe his body really well, but there's more to it than just that. What does Wilco wear? Or does he run around in the nude everywhere he goes? Also, if he's a healer, I would specify that under magical talents.

2. Now on to your EXP points. By my calculations, you've spent 67 points out of your allotted 35 points. Refer to this post on how to spend EXP for Skills, and lower them accordingly. Your stats are fine.

Get back to me when you're done.

Counted my points and I believe I have fixed that error, and I have also added a bit of info on the clothing that Wilco wears. I wasn't to sure how to word the clothing in the exact way I would like, but I made sure to add a bit.

Much better.

You have 4 EXP points left to spend. You have to spend points so that you only have 2 left. Or you could spend all 4. It's up to you.

Ok, I'm not sure what you did here, but you're now 3 points over your allotted limit. Fix this.

the only thing i did was increase brawling and striking to 2.. so 2 stats going from 1 to 2.. thats 4 points correct? cause thats all i did.

- 1 -> 2 = 2 xp increase
- 1 -> 2 = 2 xp increase

... you said add 4 points.. thats all i did.

Found the error, accidentally added a point to endurance.

Yes, that's correct. What you didn't read (like you really should have) is that your points stack. If you spend a point to raise a skill from 0 to 1, that's one point spent. If you raise a point from 1 to 2, that's two points, which stacks up to three total points spent. Though maybe I should have explained this to you better.

Regardless, now all your points check out perfectly, with no points left over. Approved. Have fun!
