Gift of the Great Deku Tree(3/x)

Characters with this perk are Kokiri, and have been blessed by the Great Deku Tree to be allowed to leave the bounds of the Lost Woods and Kokiri forest. They start with the following benefits.
+1 Charisma
+2 Skill Natural Affinity.

Physical Description:
His nose is rounded and small. His chin is rounded and not sharp. His mouth takes up little of his face, so small. His hair is He is very skinny and scrawny, but he's stronger than he looks.

Weight/Height: Anton weighs 59 lbs and is 4.4 ft tall.

Hair: His hair is blonde and quite long and tangled. His cap will hide the tangled mess underneath it.

Eyes: His eyes are pale, almost a gray with a blue tint.

Clothing: his clothing is dark green. He has a tunic and shorts. wears a curved hat with a ball on the tip of it.


Personality: He's always kind hearted and nice to those around him. He's always smiling, even when things are saddening he is always trying to keep everyone upbeat and perky. He's considerate to others feelings, sometimes, he can have quite a nasty temper at times. He may be considerate but he is very much a trickster! He loves pulling pranks but if things go too far he easily feels bad and is quick to apologize for his actions.

Family: His invaluable friend and guide, Talla the Fairy. The Deku Tree could count as his father...

Magical Talents: He has very little magical talent if any at all.

Weapons and Talents: He has a short sword, to him it would be a regular sword, but to others it is a short sword, and to some even, a dagger of sorts. He has a deku sheild as well, and a small slingshot made from the wook of the forest trees. His best talent is his unique ability to blend into the forest background. It's usefull when he's outnumbered.

Strengths and Weaknesses: Anton is a very fast runner, he has a tendency to forget things that were said over time.

History: Anton grew up slower than most of the Kokiri, he loved and still does. To pull pranks, he grew up terrorizing the forest until he start his job as the woodworker. He then grew a little in maturity. He felt pride in his work, he made the best houses and furniture. He then awoke one morn with a glowing ball of light to great him. The ball of light was a fairy named Talla, she was to be his new guardian fairy.

He soon found her to be more of an annoyance when he was working. She would get in his way, after he was assigned a big project, he was to build a house for some Kokiri, he was so excited he blocked out Talla. Enraged she feld into the forest, it was a few days before Anton relized she was gone, he was so into his work that it would take the explosion of the earth to make him loose focus.

He soon noticed her disappearance and made his way through the forest to find her. He soon found her in the clutches of a mighty Wolfos. Anton was quick to act, there was a torch lit, he pulled a deku stick and caught it on fire. After his first swing the poor Wolfos was running around the forest with his skin burnt to a crisp.

After the event Talla was very gratefull to Anton, she looked up to him as a hero. He shrugged it off as nothing. Pretty soon Talla tried to be a help to Anton with his project, the house was nearing completion. She was quite helpfull too, she would hand Anton certain tools and give him words of encouragement. Anton soon finished and his accomplishment was soon told throughout the forest that he finished the house with only the help of his fairy. They waited to test the stability of the home, it was perfect!

Anton was gratified, but soon was told he worked too hard. He was allowd a few days for rest and recooperation. It was during this that Anton rediscovered his love for pranking. He pranked the whole forest and was soon put back to work. He still pulled pranks occasionally, and he soon discovered a love for combat, he crafted himself a slingshot and every night before bed he was set up targets and shoot them all down. He also carved a sword out of word, of course it was dull and he set up a dummy and every night before bed he'd practice his sword techniques and his slingshot skills.

A few months passed and Anton was summoned to the Great Deku Tree. He had a message that was to be delivered to the royal family, strange monsters had been spotted closer and closer to the small forest village. Anton's skill in combat and his drive for adventure was The Great Deku Tree's main reason for giving him permission to leave the village. Anton quickly delivered the message and was soon confronted in town square by a group of hylian boys. They started to bully Anton, but it is hard to hurt Anton verbally. Anton and him had some verbal battles, Anton was able to dich them and he fell asleep in a haystack on a small farm outside the city.

Talla woke him late in the night when he felt a hand reach into his pocket which contained information from the royal family to the Deku tree. He was now the messenger for the Kokiri, he was the main way of communication between the royal family and the kokiri. It was unfortunately the boy from earlier. The two were soon ensued in a fist fight over the documents. Anton able to get it back gloated with glory as he shook it in the boys face, but they were soon attacked by Wolfos, it was the same Wolfos from the forest. It's hair had been burned a very large scar was visible on it's eye. It growled angrily at Anton.

It had gotten bulkier over the months. Anton was able to defeat it using a pitchfork he found. He stabbed into it's arm. The Wolfo ran off. The boy thanked him for saving him and the two were soon friends. He was taken to meet the boys father and the man looked at Anton as if he were a man in need of a great weapon. He spent a few days forging a dagger which would act as a sword for Anton. Anton treasured and still does the sword he acquired from his new friend. He made it back to the forest, and after that he grabbed a sheild and all his other possessions and made his way out of the forest to explore the world.

Ok, you've spent 55 points out of your allotted 35 points on EXP. Please refer to this post to find out how to spend your EXP.

I'd say his appearance is fine, but it seems all jumbled together wildly instead of organized. You think you could organize things by sections, as in what his body and face looks like, and then his clothing after that?

I understand how to add up the exp, but I just don't understand how I gave more than one, when it says +1 or +2 does that mean it goes up in levels or experience?

Here's how I understand it.

For Stats, to raise one stat, you need to raise it by the level you want the stat to be multiplied by 5. So for example, if you wanted to raise a Stat to 3, you would spend 15 EXP. Similarly, to level a Stat to 4, you'd spend 20 points.

For Skills, to raise it to a specific number, you have to shell out the amount of EXP required to reach that level without a multiplier. So if you were to raise a Skill from 0 to 1, that would be 1 point. If it was from 1 to 2, it would be 2 points. From 2 to 3 would be 3 points. Do you get me?

yes I understand I know this, but what I'm asking is the certain things that say +1 to strength for example does that mean str goes up by a level? Same with the skills as well.

I just went over the numbers and if you add up the exp from my flaws, it would be five, then subtract three of that for the perk I have. Now I have 37 exp, I went over the numbers and I distrubuted it all equally so if thats not how it's done then I'll redo it.

You haven't done anything to edit your EXP points. You're forgetting that you put a 4 in Charisma. That's 20 points spent right there. It's better to just start with Stats and then work your way down through Skills, then Perks & Flaws. That's what I do.

that four again, is part of his race I added 1 to charisma for him being a Kokiri, then his perk gave him an extra for Charisma, so I added an extra 1 for that as well meaning no exp came out of my pocket... well not for charisma anyway.

Uh....that perk is required to actually make you a Kokiri. You only get 1 point, not 2. Fix this accordingly.

Everybody is allowed to re-do their stats once with the same character without needing approval for it.

A mulligan if you will.

If you want to use it, go ahead and change it around and I'll take a look.
