Flaws:

Wanted [Hyrule] (-5)
Driven: To protect any Geurdo with his life (-3)

Perks:
Fated (Blacksmith's Fate) (+3)
Tough (+3)

Weapon Type and Quality
Two-handed Great Axe, Exquisite Quality.

Physical Description:
Standing at a fair 5’11, this lean clean cut young man often keeps long braids and feathers in his tangled mess of medium length brown hair. Handmade jewelry often adorns his neck. His skin has long since adapted to the sun of the Geurdo desert and is always a deep olive tone. He also boasts a rather raptor like gaze, with fierce penetrating amber eyes. Since he has lived in the desert his entire life, he is often shirtless and keeps a rather tribal fashion about him.

Personality:
Solemn, determined, and fierce. Despite being a rather resourceful and pleasant young man, he does tend to have a serious streak. The biggest flaw to his character is the devotion he feels towards his female captors; despite the years of insidious types of mental and physical abuse, he often becomes rather timid and withdrawn in the face of disappointing his Geurdo caretakers. He is a man of great passion, but it often sits under the surface; brooding like a storm inside a cloud.

Family:
If Niko has any family, he is totally unaware of it. Having been raised by the Geurdo, they are the only family he knows.
Magical Talents:

Being raised by the Geurdo, he was taught that magic was a thing to be feared. It is a dark, sinister thing in his eyes and something to never be trifled with.

Weapons and Talents:
Niko is a marvelous huntsman and survival guide. Having learned to live off the land in the desert, he figures there isn’t much of a place on the planet he could not thrive. He is capable with a bow, but mostly uses it for hunting. In hand-to-hand combat he prefers his great axe, which was given to him as part of a rite-of-passage as a young man.

Strengths and Weaknesses:
Very knowledgeable about survival skills; this includes a wide understanding of wild herbs, hunting, tracking, trapping, fishing, and other such things. This also means, of course, that he is completely out of place in regular society. Having been abused most of his life and kept under the thumb of women, he is timid and reserved in their company.

History:
Captured as a child by the Geurdo, he was raised in their midst and taught their ways. From fighting, to survival, to general life lessons; everything he is as a person is defined by the desert women’s life style. He is a slave in every sense of the word.

Being raised in a female dominated society has drastically altered the way he views himself and the world. Despite being strong and intelligent, he is often reserved in the face of his captors. Even if he was faced with freedom, it is unlikely that he would know what to do. Niko's entire life has been defined by this single event and he wouldn't know what to do with a life outside of it.

Niko has been trained to survive in the harshest environment in Hyrule and is proud of his abilities as a huntsman. It is when he is being pushed to his limits that he feels the most at home; surviving off the lay of the land and the fruits of his labor.

I've done your Fated Roll. You got Blacksmith's Fate. So you may keep that Exquisite 2H Axe. I've also edited your result into your profile, so no need to worry about that.

Ok, before I look at the rest of your points, you have done your Stats wrong. You have the Archetype bonus right, that is fine. But being a Human does NOT give you an automatic +1 to Strength. You can either use the free point in Intelligence or Charisma. If you intend on keeping the 4 in Strength, then you've used up all 35 of your allotted EXP right there. Fix this, and I'll look at your Skills, Perks, & Flaws to see if the points check out.

Also, I'm sorry, but you cannot have a History that is only 3 short sentences in length. You must fix this.

Thanks for putting in more for Niko's history. However, I'd switch up your history a little bit, as all the Gerudo moved to Termina to take up piracy. Save for maybe 1 or 2 tribes running around the Gerudo Desert, there really isn't any Hyrulean Gerudo left. Most of this is written into our history section, under the Instruction Manual. Click Here

You have still exceeded the limit for your EXP. The thing that's killing your points right now is the 3 in Agility, which uses up 15 points almost immediately. Fix this, and I'll take a look at your points again.

RoH's history says that most Geurdo left, not all.

So, I'll stick with the history as is, thanks.

And my EXP is spent correctly.

15+7+3+1+7+1+6+3+3= 46

46 - 3 - 5 - 3 = 35

That is incorrect. You can only get up to 10 points back for Flaws. Any other points you'd receive from that are null and void. So you're at 36 points, and can only spend points until you have two left.

And alright, if you want to live in the desert, that's fine. Leave it as is.

I removed my point in Medicine.

That should put me at 35.

You aren't a Stalfos. Therefore, you can only get up to 10 points back for Flaws, leaving you at 36 points. Fix this.

And ok, you can keep your history.

(Also, send some of those rupees used for this character my way, will you? XD)

EDIT: Also, it's spelled "Gerudo." Not "Geurdo." rofl

How can it possibly be at 36 points?

I removed a point.

I'm allowed to have as many flaws as I want.

Yes, Ben, you're allowed to have as many flaws as you want. But you can only get up to 10 points back normally for your Flaws. But you can get up to 15 points back for Flaws if you're a Stalfos, because they have to take up Wanted twice without question.

You can find all this stuff under Battle System Workings, mate. :P

I'm aware of everything you're saying, please stop being condescending and snarky about it.

It's rude and I don't appreciate it.

Do the math, I'm right and I'm not changing anything else.

It comes out to 35. Do the math and stop throwing rules in my face that have no baring on the matter at hand.

With the point from medicine removed, it comes out to 35. Run the numbers. I have about 15 times, I'm not doing it anymore until you can show me in the math where I'm wrong.

If we need a third mod to step in, so be it.

I'll quote you right here.

I got the same results, so you are absolutely correct. Your EXP is spent correctly. However, take a look at this.

Quote

46 - 3 - 5 - 3 = 35

Those are the points given back to you for Flaws. Now take a look at this, quoted from Battle System Workings.

Quote

Flaws will not be using this system however. While flaws fill in much the same gap as perks do in the system, they operate fundamentally different from any other part of this system. These quirks actually return points to the creator to spend elsewhere, so the number that appears next to them is the number that is RETURNED TO THE CHARACTER AS XP. Now, this seems fantastic you might say. Why can't I just take a ton of them and get a whole lot more experience to spend? And you should expect that this idea had already been thought of. It is also why the amount of return points you can get from flaws is LIMITED TO TEN (Exception is for Stalfos, which can up to 15 (FIFTEEN. TEN PLUS FIVE). Now this is not to say that you cannot go past ten in total flaws. By all means, please do. What it does mean is that anything past ten will not count towards your character's experience pool. The last note about this is that while flaws can be taken later in the game, even if you have not yet hit the ten cap you will not get points for them.

See? Non-Stalfos characters can only get up to 10 points back. You are getting 11 points back for your character. 3 + 3 = 6. 6 + 5 = 11.

And I apologize for being rude. Sometimes this process just gets to me mentally and I snap.

I'm not giving 11 points back to my character.

After I removed the point from medicine, the math comes out like this:

15+7+3+7+1+6+3+3= 45

45 - 10 = 35

Ok, that you can do. But...I'm getting something different.

15 (3 in Agility) + 7 (4 in Striking, first 2 points are null) + 3 (2 in Endurance) + 1 (1 in Athletics) + 3 (2 in Ranged Combat) + 7 (4 in Defensive Combat, first 2 points are null) + 6 (3 in Inspiration) + 0 (2 in Natural Affinity, null Archetype bonus) + 3 (Fated perk) + 3 (Tough perk) = 48

48 (Stat, Skill, & Perk total) - 3 (Poor flaw) - 5 (Wanted flaw) - 3 (Driven flaw) + 1 (can only have 10 points back for flaws) = 38

So you're still 3 points over.

There, that's what I was looking for. A mathematical correction. I'd left Ranged Combat out of my math, so that was my fault.

Dropped 3 levels from inspiration, that gives me 6 points back. I then put 2 levels in Medicine, which is 3 EXP.

That should even it out.

Ok, everything's good, and your points check out. And I'm sorry about our little back and forth today, I just got caught up in the moment.

Approved. Have fun!
