"Tags" basically labels the type of topic you are currently using. Created by the topic creator, tags allow someone to identify whether that topic is open to the public, open in general or solo.
Key:
Public - This suggests that the topic is a public establishment, such as a tavern, inn, church or urban structure that isn't owned by a particular person. Only tag this topic as 'public' if it fits into these categories. A scribe may come along and adjust the tag accordingly to fit the theme of the topic.
Open - This suggests that the topic is anywhere outside of a public establishment and that anyone may join the thread. This may be a personal venture through the open country, whereby anyone can stroll by if they wish. Use this tag if you intend for potentially uninvited people to enter your topic.
Solo - This suggests that the topic is private and being posted in by one person. You will require permission to enter from the topic creator. If another joins uninvited, politely ask them to leave, or ask a scribe to handle it. If you invite someone, edit your first post (you'll be required to use the 'full editor' and change the tag to the appropriate option).
Party - This suggests that the topic is private but is being posted in by more than one person. You will require permission to enter from the topic creator. If another joins uninvited, politely ask them to leave, or ask a scribe to handle it.
Private - This suggests that the topic is a private establishment, usually a character's home or room. It could also equate to a ship, or tent. You will require permission to enter from the topic creator. If another joins uninvited, politely ask them to leave, or ask a scribe to handle it.
Guild - This suggests that the topic is private and can only be posted in by guild members of the topic creator. You will require permission to enter from the topic creator. If another joins uninvited, politely ask them to leave, or ask a scribe to handle it.
Important - This is reserved for important notifications and has no bearing within the RP world.
Quest - This suggests that the thread is considered a Quest. This means only those involved may post in it, regardless of permission. Quests are specially created, which follow particular rules and regulations. They are also different from standard RP topics.
Notes:
You may be required to update or edit your tag depending on the theme of the topic and who is involved. Though this is usually rare, it's best to be on top of your topics.
