"Yeah, well, we were just settling in for a quiet night. But then that little guy with the spikey hair started spouting off and attacking people. Really we didn't want to get involved either, but we kinda had to seeing as we brought him with us. It wouldn't do to have him kill a bunch of people either. So loot or no loot, we had to do something." She had initially mistaken this man for a camper who had fled when the fighting broke out. But the way he was talking made it sound like he was unsure what had gone on at all. The young gerudo felt bad for him. "Well to make up for us nearly running you over, you can come with us to camp tonight. After this whole bit it might be safer in numbers. Plus, it looks like Aries let Zain get away." The darker sister glared at her younger sibling and crossed her arms. She was about ready to respond when the man walking behind her burst out with his small speech and headed down the mountain leaving everyone in his wake in shock.
"Wow. What did you do to him; did you take his jewels from his purse?" Virgo watched with a grin on her face as the long haired man moved off into the darkness. She was sure that Aries hadn't been gentle with the man. The pointed eared fool might have done nothing wrong at all, but with that masked fellow taking first Aries' and then Virgo's targets himself, she couldn't blame her sister for the foul mood. Still didn't mean she had the right to break a man's spirit. That was always best served last.
Her sister stopped and cocked a hip to the side, placing a hand on it. She blew out a sigh through her mouth which sounded like a scoff and caught the side of her bangs. "Not like what you're thinking. But I don't appreciate being knocked to the ground." She continued to stare off at the man and missed her younger sister's shocked expression. "Though I did appreciate his spirit." She watched him walk away with a smile on her face, her eyes lingering over his dark form.
"I can't believe you let him knock you to the ground." Virgo was now all giggles. "That and the fact that you didn't get laid in the process!" She looked over at the other men and subsided her jovial outburst. She was a gerudo and didn't apologize for what might have been considered an improper topic for other cultures. Their's was far more open about sexuality than the Hyruleans from what Virgo had heard. But she did extend them the small courtesy, "Ahem. Shall we go down the mountain and make camp? I can promise music, though I don't know what we have to eat. I spilt the rabbit stew Niko made." Vitgo looked genuinely sad at this confession. She'd been looking forward to seeing how it would taste. It wasn't very often that the sisters had land animals as a featured ingredient in their meal dishes. Oh well, it looked like it might be another meal further away than she had hoped.
Down the mountainside by the cart Libra was surprised to see the long haired hylian materialize. The mule was now cropping at the sparse tough grass that grew on the steep hill and was settled from his earlier experience. At first she had greeted the man with a smile, but then had to endure his glare. "If you've a complaint, you'd best air it. Staring is the job of a codfish," she said politely enough. She could see that he moved with irritation as his companion and so she kept her tone civil and sweet.
((If someone wants to have all of us meet up and move out in their next post, I'm cool with that. I've made a camp on the plains for us))

A few hours later, Ankou woke up from his recharging nap. As he looked around, day had risen, and everyone was gone. And so was his prey. Part of him was relieved that the conflict was over, because he had far from overstepped his boundaries in terms of how much of his magic he can use at once. Another part of him was envious for more, though. He needed to find a way to surpress the crazy inside him for now. But his mind was still focused on the now-absence of the people. He could only blame himself for letting his lunatic side take control of him.
"Huh, they're gone. Don't blame them, either. The other half of me doesn't exactly want friends."
But now that they were gone, he could focus on what needed to be done. There was a rumor that something magical in nature lay hidden inside the Earth Temple. It was said that it could surpress craziness in people. Or bring it out, depending on how it was used. Ankou would be lucky to find such a treasure and use it to permanently surpress his craziness. But there were no clues as to how he could actually find it. Oh well. Nothing to do but turn the Earth Temple inside-out until he found it. He turned his head toward the entrance to the temple as he stood up and gazed at it for a second.
"I don't care if I spend years upon years searching for this thing. I will find it and become normal again. My sanity demands it."
With that, he nonchalantly walked toward the temple entrance and down the steps. How long would it take him to find this artifact? Who was to say he would indeed find it? All he could do was be patient.
