Clothing: Normally Drake wears a full set of plate armor, with chain mail underneath, both of which are black in color. He also wears a black cloak with gold embroidery upon it. When he is not in his armor, he will normally wear a tunic, with a leather belt, leather boots, and wool pants.
Personality: Drake is very gentle and friendly to most people. He believes in forgiveness of people who have committed wrongs, but also believes that justice needs to be served. He is never overly brutal while fighting someone.

Magical Talents: Drake has the ability to use minor healing spells on others and himself
Weapons and Talents: Drake has a special enchanted sword that was given to him as a gift from his adopted father. It is indestructible, wards off evil, and can only be wielded by a pure heart. What that means is that those with pure hearts can wield the sword like any other two-handed sword but those who find themselves lacking would feel as though it weighed a ton (Like Mjolnir with Thor). A pure heart is defined as such:
"A pure heart is unburdened. It does not let things such as hatred, guilt, regret, sorrow, or lies weigh it down. Those with pure hearts fight unburdened for what they truly believe to be the right thing in their heart"
Strengths and Weaknesses: Drake is very skilled in combat, considering his adopted father was a knight in the Hylian army, but Drake finds it hard for him to trust other people without them proving themselves in a way.
History:
On one stormy night in Lon Lon Town, a baby lay crying in a basket on the doorstep of Kain Paradel, a knight of the Hylian army. It had been waiting outside for at least ten minutes before the couple had heard the baby. The man opened his door and looked around, wondering if some mother was just using his house as cover from the rain. Seeing that the baby was alone Kain picked up the basket with the baby inside and read a note attached to it. The Goddesses have heard your plea and have sent me. My name is Drake. Please take good care of me. Kain had looked around, wondering where the mother was. He knew that the Goddesses didn’t just make babies appear on doorsteps. Did the mother abandon the child because she did not want it or did she fear that she could not take care of the child? Either way, it had seemed that the baby needed a caretaker and the child was an answer to the couple’s prayers. Kain’s wife had not bore him a child for the past five years and the couple had prayed to the Goddesses to bring them a child. Sometimes prayers are answered in unexpected ways…
Little Drake had been cared for tenderly throughout his years under the Paradel’s house. The parents had told him about his origins from the time he was able to understand what they meant. They had thought it would be best for him to know from them, instead of hearing it from someone else and questioning their honesty. Drake did not care when he had heard the news. Kain and Elisa had cared for him greatly and raised him, which made them better parents than some children’s birth parents. It did affect Drake’s future ambitions, however. He had wanted to be a knight of the Hylian army, just like his father, but he was no noble, even if he was Kain’s adopted son. But the kind heart of Kain thought he would train the young boy in the ways of knighthood, after his chores and schoolwork were done of course. Kain had made the suggestion that Drake could grow up to be a champion of the Goddesses.
Drake’s eighteenth year was an eventful one. He had joined the local militia of Lon Lon, found the love of his life, and married her. The lady Amelia had been a childhood friend of Drake’s, but it was around the time that he joined the militia that she expressed her true feelings for him. She was worried that he would get hurt and didn’t want to find out that he was dead before she could tell him her secret. Drake was at first taken back by the confession, but after searching his heart, he found out that he felt the same about her. He had courted her for four months before asking Amelia to marry him, to which she said yes. At the marriage, Drake thought he couldn’t be happier.
Three years after the wedding a bandit problem had popped up around Lon Lon and Drake had volunteered for a mission to go and clear them out at a supposed hideout. It turned out that someone in the militia had turned on them and the hideout was a trap, but not in the normal sense. The trap was to lure Drake and a chunk of the militia away from Lon Lon, leaving the town open for an attack by the bandit gang. By the time that Drake and his squad returned, the raid was underway. Drake and his squad provided enough numbers for the raid to be considered a failure, but the battle was far from a victory for Drake. Fearing for his wife, Drake had first rushed towards his house, only to find that she had been killed by one of the bandits. Blinded by rage, Drake took the bandit down in a fight that claimed his left eye.
Drake had fallen into a drunken stupor for a year after his wife had died. Kain had decided to intervene and help Drake recover from his loss, both in loving ways and not so loving ways. After a lot of soul searching, Drake had decided to become a champion of the Goddesses and be a devout follower of their way, like his father had suggested before. After taking an oath, Kain had given Drake his sword to remind him of the oath he took. Even though he has gotten over the loss of his wife, Drake moved to the town of Rauru feeling that Lon Lon was too much a reminder of his previous life. To this day, he still lives in the small farming town, helping where he is needed…
