So, it has been a month (past a month actually), since I challenged Toruu for this title and he has yet to reply. That means it is up for grabs and I am claiming it, but Aaron tells me I need to allow someone the chance to challenge me for it. After five days, the title is mine.

Battle Training: Malik Maclain

Alright, so here begins your battle system training! Just so we are clear on what my job as a Judge/Trainer is, I am not supposed to be a supplement for reading the Instruction Manual. It is your job to read the Instruction Manual and get a base understanding for the battle system from there. It is my job to clear up any misunderstandings or questions that you have and make sure that you know enough about the Battle System so that you can participate in it.

Now that that is taken care of, here is a nice little visual aid that I've made to help you be familiar with the dice roller.

1: This is where the game/match is defined. If you are creating a game, then you type in a name that doesn't currently exist (Normally RoH#### where the #'s are some combination of numbers or such) If you are looking up a game, you type in the name and it will bring it up. As you can see in the top right corner, there are recent games to quickly find your game, if you're amongst the most five recent games.

2. This is where you define what dice you roll and how many. Unless otherwise stated in a combat mechnaic, we use only d10's on RoH. All you have to do is type the number of dice you need to roll in the space. If you have a combat mechanic that affects your dice roll, you can put the number in the Mod space and it will automatically add or subtract the number from your total roll.

3. These are special modifiers that affect your roll. As of right now, I don't believe the Drop Lowest check box is used for anything, so you can ignore that. The Re-roll 1's check box only needs to be checked if you are making a roll in your progidy skill (as of right now).

4. Pretty simple. You put you or your character's name in this spot so we know that it was you who made the roll.

5. Most people use this space to define what type of roll they are making. IE: Attack Roll, Damage Roll, Potions Roll, Etc.

6. This is the display history of the game. All rolls made will show up here. It will show what each dice rolled as well as the total of all rolls added together. Remember, depending on the roll, the total it shows doesn't necessarily mean it's the roll that you had. More on this later.

7. After you put in all your information, this is what you click to roll your dice ;)

Sorry, I know that a lot to read, but I felt like it covers all bases.

Before we begin, I'd like to ask how you want to do your training. Would you rather:

A: Ask questions now and finish with a practice battle? (or)
B: Start with a practice battle and ask questions along the way?
