Name: Danali Zahar Other Aliases: Danny Gender: Female Race: Gerudo Age: 24 Physical Description: As far as Gerudo go, Danali is fairly average. Tall of stature, strong of build, and tan of skin with a mane of flaming hair. Her eyes, however, differ slightly from the norm as hers are a gleaming emerald green instead of the common amber gold. Also unlike most of her kind, she doesnt care for the airy desert clothing that the Gerudo like to adorn themselves in. Danali prefers leathers and other skin tight articles made of more robust materials. On the left side of her torso she sports a tattoo of nonsensical markings colored like ash. Their meaning is unknown to any but her. Personality: To put it into a single word: spunky. Danali has a spirit fitting of that of a warrior hailing from a land known to breed strong women. She knows her worth, she knows her strengths, and she isnt afraid to make that known others - nor is she afraid to pick a fight should words or actions be thrown against her. Although she has left her homeland behind, she is proud of what she is: a strong Gerudo woman. She wont hide that fact just because most of her kind has earned themselves a bad name. You could almost call it a goal of hers, to form a new opinion in the eyes of the rest of the world that not all Gerudo are thieves. Family: Stames her fabulous bulbo steed! Magical Talents: She aint got none. Weapons and Talents: She is most proficient with swords, as well as her fists. Danali is also talented with the rest of her body (*nudgenudgewinkwink*). Strengths and Weaknesses: Although she feels no shame in being a Gerudo, she does understand that the majority of the world views them in a less than stellar light. She does her best to try to change these opinions, but being the hard headed spitfire she is, getting that done can sometimes be rather difficult. It's hard to make someone think you can be peaceful when all you want to do is smash their skull. History: Born near the end of the Thirty Year War, Danali was nearly four years old by the time any kind of resolve was made. Luckily for her, none of those four years were spent in war torn camps. Her mother, a one time soldier in Ganondorf's army, she deserted the fight when she found out she was pregnant. For four years they lived in mild peace, though they always had to be careful to stay hidden lest the army find them and have them executed. When the war ended Danali' mother was able to breathe a sigh of relief. Although there were still factions loyal to Ganondorf's cause, there was no longer a true threat to her's or her daughter's lives. They could live their lives in peace. Danali was raised to believe a few things: The strong survive, and the strong help the weak survive. Being a Gerudo was something to be proud of. And everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. She was taught to be strong and firm, but also flexible (though Danali always struggled with that). She was to use her strength and fortitude to bring about a good change in the world, however little it might be. When she turned twenty Danali decided to venture out into the world to do just that. However, she quickly learned that people and their minds would not be changed so easily. Twenty short years would not erase the hate that some races held for her kind, nor the distrust that was handed by generation. In the four years she'd spent traveling, her hot headedness might have only helped to worsen the publics perception of the Gerudo, in fact.
