Tane had to wonder if it was normal attitude for this boy to just run off and talk to every stranger he had met. Tane did not have children, nor did he spend much time with them, but he recalled a time back in his youth where all the adults discouraged against such things and used words like 'Talking to strangers is bad' and 'Don't accept food given to you by strange people'. It was not his place to bring up such schooling though. Maybe they learned differently these days, or, alternatively, maybe it was just Zeid's nature to be so polite and welcoming. Apparent child of royalty, maybe it was bred into his being to be greeting the people like this. Tane had no idea. Tane also didn't care. What did it bother to talk to strangers anyway? He wasn't in charge of this operation. He was only the hired brains. "Indeed seems the case. Everyone's got someone to find," he remarked absently, giving a nod towards Dante. Zeid was looking for his mother, Rachel had been looking for news on Zen, and this newcomer was looking for a child. It just went full circle here. Tane was looking for no one on his own though, just his own ego and fame. "We ought to start a lost and found." They'd come out here and found this fellow and quite honestly, Tane didn't know what to say. He didn't wish to divulge into the details of their quest if it wasn't his place. This man was offering to help? Were they going to allow that? Were they going to give their secret mission away to just any and every man, woman, or child that 'offered to help'? He met eyes with Dante curiously, the question lingering in his gaze. He could be good and hold his tongue, keep secrets, and only speak about what he was allowed to speak about. So professional. Unable to answer, he could only shrug and comment on this 'goddess healer whatever' business this fellow appeared to be a part of. "Came a bit late. I've already been healed." Whether he meant his physical injuries from the previous night's arena fight or some measure of sarcasm about spiritual healing though was anyone's guess. "Pleasure to meet you though. Tane Kooper. I'm a detective around these parts. Helping out this pair with their missing person's case." Now that wasn't giving anything away as it had already been said the boy was looking for his mother. He offered a hand, "Finding what's hidden is something of a specialty. And speaking of-" He drew his eyes back to Zeid, "I think I can answer your question. Got something we wanted your input on." And he left it at that.
